Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Her range of talents has been proven on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she began her career as an actor in 2003. Anna's role on Assault on Precinct 13 was her first major breakthrough. However, it was her performance of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the documentary film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she was due as an actor.
